"I had a bad day"

The day before my cold.. I am happy and lifting my head so high!

This is me on Monday morning. Daddy and Mommy are just about ready to take me to the doctors. YEAH!

Here is the story of my first cold. So, Saturday morning I woke up to get ready for Gma and Gpa Olson's Christmas and realized I had a stuffy nose. As the day went on, my cold got worse and worse and worse. I couldn't breath and I continually sneezed and coughed. Gma held me for a long time and tried to make me feel better. Even my cousins, Asher, Brandon and Hannah tried to get me to smile. I tried to keep my appearance up, but by Sunday my eyes were even watering. Dad and Mom took turns rocking me and come Monday we are headed to the doctor's office. I really didn't like the vapor rub, the saline drops or the bulb syringe.. that thing is my LEAST favorite. I hope the doctor can fix me. Mom says doctors are very smart and I should be feeling better in no time at all. Thank goodness! Being sick is the pits.

Merry Christmas

My first Christmas was great! My mom and dad got to sample foods from around the world! I got to sample them a few hours later, although they were a little watered down. I got to see all my aunts, uncles, and cousins...boy there sure are a lot of names to learn when I start talking! I did sleep through a lot of it though. Visiting sure wears me out.

Fashion Statement

Guess what I got!??? A new cheetah coat and blanket. They are the softest coat and blanket I have ever felt. My mom's friend, Aunt Allison bought them for me! I couldn't resist putting it on right away. Mommy wanted to get a picture of the coat and blanket on me while I was awake, but I just didn't want to wake up! Mommy says I must be growing, cuz I slept ALL day long. Mommy also said I will be wearing this coat to all of my holiday parties. She doesn't want to take it off me because I look so cute! Thanks Allison!

Chicago in the Winter time

Today I went to the BIG city of Chicago! My cousins and I went to Macy's and ate lunch in the Walnut Room. We got to sit by this beautiful Christmas tree that Martha Stewart decorated. While we waited for our lunch a fairy came around and sprinkled fairy dust in my hair. Then we looked at all the beautiful ornaments and walked our way to see Santa. Yes, I got to sit on Santa's lap. I gave him a big laugh when I decided to relieve myself on him. Hee hee hee. Thank goodness for Huggies. We also walked to the Daley Plaza and saw the Nativity. It was such a fun time. Oh, I almost forgot, I also made it on the ABC news. Yes, I am famous. Actually Aunt Shelly was interviewed, but I swear you can see me! Happy Holidays!

Boy or Girl?

Someone had mistaken me for a boy yesterday. I didn't care so much, but mom was shocked. I told her to dress me in more girly clothes, so here is my new look.... I may be the youngest girl to ever get a makeover! What do you think? I still may wear boyish clothes from time to time. They are just more comfortable. Boys have it easy! I don't think bows and dresses are my thing, but I do feel pretty!! We'll see!

The day after shots...I am feeling fine!

Two months and growing!

So, today is my two month birthday. For a present Mom and Dad took me to the doctors. I did a super job! First they measured my head to make sure I am getting smarter. yep! I am! Second they stretched me out and measured how long I am. I am 22 inches long now. Yippee, I grew another inch. Then they weighed me. Usually a girl doesn't share her weight, but I am proud to say I have gained another two pounds. Yes! I now weight 11lb 9oz. I am trying to catch up to my mom! The doctor tickled me and tried to get me to smile. He even said I was beautiful. I sure like my doctor. The nurses I don't like so much because one of them gave me four shots!!! They hurt real bad, but I didn't cry too much. I slept much of the day after that. The first picture is of me leaving for the doctors. The second picture is of me getting ready for a car ride AFTER my shots. Mom and Dad took me on a long car ride hoping that I would fall asleep instead of cry. It worked too! Before I knew it I woke up and it was a new day with out shots!

We got to see Grandpa today!!!

So, mom took me to see my Grandpa today. It was so nice to cuddle up with him. I did a great job visiting too! There were some other people at the hospital getting better and the nurses said I brought smiles to their faces! Mission accomplished. Well, we stayed a long time so I got a nap on mommy while I was there too! I hope to go visit Grandpa again real soon!! I hope Thursday, that is the day they do "Dog Therapy".. I love dogs. Grandpa looked so good! He was moving around better with one leg than I do with two legs. He is going to have to teach me a few things.

Daddy and I keep busy together!

Mom and I have fun all day long but when dad comes home I get snugly. Tonight when Daddy got home he was real tired so we (Daddy, me, and Tivoli) took a power nap together. Daddy has been trying to work out more to stay strong for me, so after his power nap we headed to the treadmill. I like to watch Daddy run to learn the correct technique, and Tivoli dreams about running with him. Well, I am tired, better get some rest. I am sure we will be running tomorrow night too!
