I'm a Big Kid Now!

I'm practicing my kissing with mommy and daddy...well, with pretty much anyone that tries to kiss my face, which is practically everyone!

Here's my new shirt from Auntie Laura...aren't I just adorable?!

Me and my bunny

Dad was gone all day today. He had to go from work right to his night class so Mom and I spent all day together. We had so much fun. We sang a song called "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes", well those are the words anyway. We worked on our ABC's by watching Wheel of Fortune and then took a BIG bubble bath. But once American Idol came on I wanted NO interruptions. I had to listen to my competition. Tivoli was not amused. I chose to watch Idol with my bunny becuase I figured with her big ears she would be able to help me size up my competition. I have really started liking my bunny. She is my best friend right now!

The life of a three month old...

I have turned three months old and man does it feel good. Most of the time I am either drooling or putting my fist in my mouth. I love it when people talk to me and I have been keeping fairly good conversations with people too. I laugh when Mommy and Daddy stick their tongues out at me or when they try to play peek-a-boo. My Aunts are trying to get me to roll over, but I just haven't made it all the way yet. I have been working on bigger and better things. Take a look at some of the more advanced things I have been working on.

First, I am attempting to be the youngest girl to walk.. I am not quite there yet.

Second, here is my audition tape for American Idol.

This shirt says it all. (Thanks Buddy, I love the shirt!)

Oh.. one last thing. Tivoli has found a new use for Mommy's Boppy. Isn't she a silly dog? I think she just wants to look as cute as me.

Baby Einstein

Mom and dad put me in the exersaucer tonight to watch a little Baby Einstein. They said it will help my brain grow. I was a little insulted, so I showed them! Baby Einstein's got nothing on me!

Resolutions for us all...

Mommy and Daddy are continuing their good habits and working out on the treadmill every day to set a good example for me. I wanted to get in on the workouts so they decided to take me along. Mommy tried it first and I LOVED it, so when it was Daddy's turn to workout, I got to enjoy the ride again! Actually, the walking puts me to sleep! After we all worked out. Mommy and I headed up for a bath. I love bath time! I hope you are all keeping to your New Year Resolutions. In good health!
A new way to put Tessa to sleep

Mommy and Daddy took me to the ER

So, Mommy and Daddy took me to the ER and that is something I won't forget anytime soon. They didn't even make us wait in the waiting room like the other people, they took us right to a room. They had Mommy put a hospital gown on me, she said I looked so cute. Then they put all these wires on me, but I wasn't that scared because Mommy was holding me the whole time. I felt safe in my Mommy's arms, until this lady came and put something down my throat, OUCH!! I cried a lot! My Daddy almost cried too. He doesn't like to see me hurting. After that, they had Mommy put me on this machine that gives babies X-rays. I didn't like it, but Mommy held my hands the whole time. Once the X-rays were done, I was taken back to the room and they tried to get me to breath some of this special air that was coming out of a tube. I didn't want to, but I saw Mommy doing it so I thought it was safe. It didn't taste like anything, but it was suppose to help me breath better. Once all was said and done, Mommy gave me to Daddy. I tried to make Daddy feel safe and not sad anymore. Mom says I am a "True Anderson".. because Anderson women are STRONG! I was diagnosed with Bronchialitis, also know as RSV. It stinks, but it should be gone in about a week. UGH. I have already had it for a week. Daddy and Mommy are so impressed that I am still happy, that they took some more pictures. I have been working hard at keeping my head up. Have a healthy day!

Tessa's First Cold... will it ever end?

Hello Everyone.. I am fighting a bad cold. I do have to say, Mom and Dad are doing their best to make it a little less TERRIBLE. Daddy rubs vapor rub on me all the time and puts this stuff in my nose (YUCK), plus keeps sucking gross stuff out. Mom keeps rocking me and trying to feed me. She said that you "feed a cold" and "starve a fever". I am glad I'm not the latter. I love to eat too much!! Yesterday I didn't eat as well as Mommy hoped. I only ate for like three minutes every couple of hours. But, this morning I was back in business. I was so hungry!! This picture is of me in my favorite outfit.. MY DIAPER. I was snuggled up watching the Illini game. Even though I didn't feel good, I made it a whole quarter. Mom and Dad don't have it in their hearts to tell me who won or lost, so I am going to just imagine that Illini won and are the Rose Bowl Champs!! As you can see on my finger, Illini is #1!!!!!
