Mommy and daddy are going to take me to the zoo this summer, so I'm practicing all my animal sounds. I'm also practicing what to say in case daddy falls in the lion's den..."oh no!" I know that God would shut their mouths though.

I hope I can snuggle up and read with a bear at the zoo like this one.

Getting Jiggy With It

Tessa is becoming quite the little dancer. She absolutely loves music. She can't help herself. When she hears a beat, her little body just starts movin'.

The Easter Egg hunt!

Michael and I decided to spread out and find all the easter eggs. I am still trying to count my eggs to see if I got more... The only problem I am having is I only can count to three.. Hannah and Grandma helped me find the difficult ones.

I love this holiday!! Thank you Jesus!

Bring on Spring!

We decided that with spring coming, we needed to be spending more time outside. However, we didn't have a lot of room since our patio furniture took up the entire old patio. So, we just asked good 'ol Uncle Sam to get us a new patio. Here are a few before and afters. Our old patio gave its life to be our stepping stones from the driveway to the patio. The Easter Bunny even gave mommy an umbrella to go with the new patio! We hope you come visit us soon for a cookout!

busy day!!

What a fun day! Today I met my cousins Laura, Hannah, and Michael at the Rainforest Cafe. There was so much to see there!! I loved it!I even got to sit between my cousins. I was very polite, aside from spilling my cup of water all over me within the first ten minutes of sitting down. No one seemed to care and I just went with out pants for the remainder of the day!Michael got a BIG slushie.. he almost drank the whole thing.We got to see fish, gorillas, snakes, cheetahs, monkeys.. you name it, it was there. After that we went to Build-a-Bear where Michael and I stuffed animals.
Hannah and Laura helped us a lot.

I decided on a lamb and Michael chose a Panda.We got to put a special heart in them
and we had to give them a bath. We made out birth certificates

And took our new friends home.. Then we went shopping.. What do you think of this hat? too big maybe?

Michael wanted to take me for a ride... Like the hat? Now, that was a fun day!! I really need to see those three more often!

The Next Ultimate Fighter

Daddy has been watching a little Ultimate Fighting lately, and I thought I'd get in the action.

Unfortunately, I lost my first bout to my cozy coupe! He got me with a right cross from his gas tank. I decided to call my agent to say I want out of the UFC. I can't have this pretty face bruised up every week.
This is after the fight back in the dressing room with my cut being cared for by my manager, Mommy.If anyone needs a model for Band-Aid, call my agent.

Where's Tessa?

I have always loved climbing into the cabinets, but more recently I have disovered that there are doors on the cabinets that close. Mom decided to tape me playing hide and seek (thanks to her friend who taped my friend Logan doing the same thing). Great minds think alike.

Daddy and Mommy worked very hard to make a stepping stone for me. We first combined water and mixed a few times..

Then Mommy smoothed out the cement and we added a few mosaic pieces.Daddy then tried to put my hand in the cement.. but I thought it was more fun to grab the squishy stuff in my hands. Mommy tried to stop me from grabbing and squishing the cement in my fingers, but I was able to wiggle my fingers in it. So...
They smoothed out the cement one last time and put my foot in it!!

My baby girl is becoming independent

I have become more independent these past few weeks. I love feeding myself, especially breakfast. My new favorite food is broccoli. And I love to say Cheese for the camera. At my 15 month check up (I was 16 months though), I learned I am a growing baby. I tipped the scale at 25 lbs and am just shy of 31 inches tall. My head is growing too.. wow!! I am getting some new teeth way in the back of my mouth called molars and they hurt.. I have learned so many new words that I think I am almost at 25 words. My new favorites are Up, No, and Bye. Mommy likes to hear me say please, but I don't want her to think I have mastered that word yet, so I only use it during very special occasions.

We were voting for what was for dinner.. I put two hands up for broccoli and chicken!

Here I am waiting for a bite of Daddy's broccoli.. all in a days work.

Here I am shock to here the news about mom doing more healthy cooking... WHAT! I will starve. I need my Kraft mac and cheese!Doesn't this look like a girl who has missed a few meals?
Thank God I know where Mommy keeps the Cheerios.. Right within my reach..
