Mom hosted a mom's group and lots and lots of kids came over to make a puppet and some of them even stayed to go swimming in our pool. It was the MOST fun!! Next month we are doing transportation.

So, we decided to go see Tangled. It was so much fun. I loved it!! We got buttered popcorn and everything. Daddy even bought me my own tangled doll for Valentine's day. I hope to have hair as long as tangled some day! Reese came too, but didn't like sitting still. She managed just fine though. Mommy and Daddy took turns with her.

What a fun visit to Tennessee.. aside from the drive it was GREAT!! Grandma had us stop at Cracker Barrel two times. I just couldn't get enough pancakes. They were delicious!!

Here we are swimming in Aunt Joy and Uncle Johnny's tub.. it was so much fun! We went to a Children's museum. Reese loved being an astronaut. What do you think? a future NASA employee?

Andy was so sweet. I spent a lot of time watching him sleep, he did that A LOT.

Baking cookies is a MUST during the holidays.. on the list are Secret Kiss Cookies, Oreo Balls, and sugar cookies.. I love being the helper and so does Reese!Reese was excited to help with the kiss cookies too!

October has come and almost gone, and what a busy month it was! It was a month filled with birthdays, family, and did I mention birthdays?

A lot of my family came to celebrate my 3rd birthday with me. This is my Dora cake. Feliz cumpleanos a mi!

This is my cousin, Paige. I'm kind of like her little sister since she has two brothers already. She's an Olson too!

Can you tell how much I love cake?

And ice cream? I have daddy's sweet tooth? I got a balloon too!

When mommy and daddy asked me what I wanted, I said cake, ice cream, and a pumpkin. I'm pretty easy to please that way. =)

I also got to spend the birthday weekend with my aunts and grandma. We did a diabetes walk in honor of my Grandpa Anderson who lived with diabetes for a long time. I had so much fun with all of them!

Mommy said it was on her "bucket list" to ride a camel. I'm glad I could help her check it off her list!

October ended with how it began...more birthday parties! This is one of the hayrides we went on in Olsonville. Reese loved them too.

We celebrated Ellie's 1st birthday and my 3rd birthday. I'm glad I got to share the special day with Ellie. She sure is getting big, and boy can she move! Here she is with Uncle Nathan and Aunt Jenoa.

Grandma Olson likes having a traditional grandkid picture taken around the same time every year. It seems like there's always another kid in the mix every year. Wonder if there will be any more next year?

Ok.. Not doing so well updating this blog. Lots has happened in September (and late August). Reese was dedicated.. Yah! What a fun gathering. Also, Tivoli had her puppies. Boy are they work. Also, Ryan ran the Crystal Lake Half Marathon and did fantastic! Overall, September was a very busy month! Reese is growing so fast and is starting to scoot around a lot. She also is getting her first tooth. Tessa is still doing super and becoming very independent. What a blessing they both are.

It's Been A While...

It's been a while since we posted so here's a little of what we've been up to...

Mommy and Daddy felt like it was a perfect summer for a couple of dates on the motorcycle. Mommy even sat through a whole movie, but she said she missed us the whole time.

We are definitely "Mommy Girls."

We had a lot of picnics this summer, many of them at the zoo!

Mommy and Daddy also took me to a more local zoo. This one just had animals of the kid variety though. There were even placed on the ground that when you jumped on them, they played music! See me jumping?

Not only have I been practicing my ABC's, but I've also learned a thing or two about performing surgery. I just delivered a baby with the help of my trusty assistant, Reese.

Reese had her check up and did super. She is growing very well. She weighed in at 14lb 11oz and is 26inches long. She is right around 25%-50% for everything. She did super for Dr. Megahead. It took her a few days to feel better after the shots.. this time they gave her a little fever. Once she started feeling better we decided to head to the zoo. Here we go!

We went to our first Dolphin show. It was very hot but we all had a super time.

Oklahoma was the most fun. They welcomed us with a beautiful "Shetland" cake! We spent a lot of time outside too.. Pam and Grandma had a great time swinging together while catching up!

Tessa did a fantastic job in her recital. She loved being center stage. During her ballet she did all of her moves and kept her smile beaming. Reese turned four months.. WOW. At her doctor's appointment she did fabulous. She weighed in at 13lb 30z and was 24 inches long. She impressed Dr. Megahed with her scooting and her ability to raise her head and get up on her hands. She did fantastic with her shots too. She is such a trooper! She is sleeping so well at night, only waking up once to eat. She sleeps well during the nap time too. Tessa just loves her little sister too. Tessa is doing super great with ballet. She loves it to. We are all so excited about the upcoming dance recital.

Tessa has two best friends from church! We had them over for a couple hours one night and then a few days later they invited us to swim with them at a local pool. The girls had a blast. Allison and Maddie are wonderful girls and great swimmers. We are excited to go with them again!

Batter up! My cousin Asher got a catcher's mask for his birthday. He is going to be the next Yadier Molina.

Mommy and Daddy got a family pass for Brookfield Zoo this year, so we can go as much as we want! I can't wait to see all the animals! To help pass the time on the trip to the zoo, I decided to watch Veggie Tales. It's one of my favorite.

It was a really busy day today. What a zoo!

I did a great job following mommy. Her pants have loops just at the right height for me to tag along with.

Daddy took me to see the camels. He said he has fond memories of watching the camels with Grandpa Olson.

We decided to have a picnic after seeing all the animals. Seeing them all eat made us hungry too!

Mommy makes the best peanut butter and jelly sandwiches!

By the end of the trip, I was tired from seeing all the animals. What a day!

I was so inspired by seeing all the trainers at the zoo that I decided to train Tivoli when I got her home. Here I am walking her around for all the zoo patrons to see. Isn't she beautiful?! She's an endangered Yellow Lab, or at least that's what daddy says when she tracks dirt into the house.

Mommy and Jenny have been friends for since Highschool. Jenny is Addy and Austen's Mom. We have started a regular playdate once a week and I really enjoy the fun times I have with Addy. We are coloring Easter Eggs next week!!

So, the doctor's appointment isn't until morning, but I (Reese) am officially 2 months old. Life is super great being me. Mom told me that I am now an official OU fan since I fit into my OU onesie.. My Grandpa would be proud. I am not fond of my swing, but it just so happens when Mommy puts it on the HIGHER speed, it tickles my tummy.. I think I may like it after all. This is my sister Tessa holding me. She is a SUPER sister. I love to watch her and listen to her all the time.

Mommy, Tessa and I all took a bath together.. I have to say, the water wasn't that bad.

Reese is almost two months.. WOW!! She is such a princess..
She still sleeps a lot and eats even more! We haven't been to the doctors yet to get her stats, that will be in a week, but she is growing SO much. She doesn't mind tummy time, or back time for that matter. She is a happy baby.

What a wonderful Valentine's day!! We got all dressed up for church, Reese wore a dress and I wore a tutu! Then we headed to a water park with some of Mommy and Daddy's friends from work. This is a picture of me right before the fun began! We were headed down the elevator to the BIG indoor Water Park with lots of friend... Parker, Andrew, and Jake (and their parents of course)I discovered that Parker and I love a lot of the same foods. I had a lot of fun playing with him! There were so many things to do at the indoor park. I LOVED the slides..

Here is a quick picture of Reese who will be turning 1 month on Friday. She is growing up so fast. I can't believe how quickly one month past. She has been a wonderful little girl. Sleeps well and eats like a champ. I think she is about 8lbs. She is a happy little girl and loves looking at her sister and listening to mommy and daddy. We are so blessed to have her. In other news... Tessa has joined tap and ballet. She loves it already. Here we are right before her first class. She was so excited.

Asher came to visit us this past weekend. I had so much fun with him and was sad to see him leave.

We baked yummy cookies together too! Asher is really good at cracking eggs and I think I mix pretty well.
Here is one of my sweatsuit I plan to wear often inthe next few months. Daddy is training for the chicago marathon, so I plan to keep up with him.. at least in fashion. This is my cousin Maggie. She comes to visit us more often. I really love her.

We spent Christmas at my Uncle Billy's house. This first picture is of me eating a very BIG cookie. My face doesn't show it well, but I was enjoying this cookie very much. I got to spend a lot of time with my cousins. This is a picture of my cousin Hannah hanging me upside down. The world looks so much different this way.

We went to see Santa Claus today. I call him Ho Ho Ho. Although I did keep saying, "there's ho!" Mommy and daddy said I have to work on that for next year. I didn't cry this year, but the guy in the fuzzy white beard still scares me a bit. I didn't feel like sitting on his lap, but he still gave me a treat for being such a good girl this year. I can't wait to see what he brings me!

I had so much fun playing in the snow. It was very cold outside and getting dark but I didn't mind. Mommy and Daddy helped me dig in the snow, and Daddy taught me how to make snow angels. I think it is going to be a fun winter as long as they keep taking me outside.

8 Month Pregnant!

Yes, I am a little over 8 Months Pregnant now (33 Weeks), but here is the latest picture of me at 32 Weeks. Reese is moving all the time and keeping me up at night. I am so excited to meet her. The doctor says baby Reese is growing strong and that everything looks great!!! I will keep you all posted.

Thanksgiving with the Olson's.. What a wonderful time! I never leave there without learning a few things. Grandma and Grandpa's house is always so much fun.

Daddy showed me some BIG cows that are next door.

Grandpa took me on a tractor ride. I was a little scared, but it too was a learning experience.
Also, Asher taught me the ins and outs of making a "Perfect" grilled cheese sandwich.

Aunt Jenoa and Uncle Nathan let my Daddy borrow baby Ellie for a little while to teach me how to play with her in preperation for my baby sister Reese! I think Ellie is beautiful and I loved rubbing her head. She is so sweet!

I also played the Wii... I didn't really know what to do with the remote control, but Hannah showed me how to play. Boy was that fun..

This is my buddy, Andrew. He let me tag along for trick-or-treating. He's only 4, and he's already achieved the rank of Jedi master.

I had so much fun with mommy and daddy. I didn't even mind wearing the outfit. In fact, I kept it on most of the night.

This is my mommy and I snuggling up to keep warm. Mommy taught me how to knock on doors and say "thank you" when people gave me candy.

I loved trick-or-treating. Mommy and daddy kept emptying my bucket, so I could fill it again and again!

Halloween Fun!

Mom and I went to the library for a Halloween Story time. I was so glad to see Paige and Ryan there too. They are my good friends. We went trick-or-treating to the different desks in the library. I got a lot of goodies. I didn't want to wear my costume, so Mommy put me in this cute pumpkin shirt and bow.

This is my VERY GOOD friend Allison. She is so much fun to play with. Allison and her sister Maddy come over every Monday while their parents study the bible with Mommy and Daddy. I love Mondays now.. and I love Allison and Maddy!! After a long discussion, I decided to make my pumpkin a "HAPPY" pumpkin. I really liked helping Mommy clean out the pumpkin and carve out his face. Grandma was so proud of my carving that I had to get a picture with her and my pumpkin!

We had so much fun in Olsonville. Aunt Brooke made a beautiful Care bear cake and I couldn't feel more special. Being 2 take a lot more responsibility. You have to be cute all the time. Mommy and I had to get our picture taken tonight because we are both hitting milestones in our lives. Mommy is 6 months pregnant and I am going to be 2 years old in 2 weeks. Daddy takes pictures of mommy every week to chart Mommy's growth.. This week I snuck in and got my picture too. I think I have the hang of this.. shirt up and smile. =) I think my belly looks better than mommy's belly.

I got to go with Mommy to the doctors this time so I know exactly what is going on. Mommy is measuring a little bigger, which may mean that she may have the baby a week or two earlier.. She hasn't gotten much bigger on the outside, but she is measuring a little over 25 weeks now. I got to go with her to get weighed.. they said she only gained one pound. Wow.. so far she has gained almost ten pounds. That is the same she gained with me at 6 months. The baby's heart rate was so fast, but the doctor assured me it sounded perfect. Then they gave Mommy some Orange juice to drink the next time she goes to the doctors. Mommy seemed happy, I think it is because her favorite color is orange. Dr. Pines was very nice to me and I even got to sit up on the bed with Mommy.

New pictures of the puppies (2 days old)

Tivoli had her litter Sunday at 1AM. She did super. The puppies all went for their first check up and the doctor said they all are healthy.. Then they had their dew claws removed which made them a little sad, but they were back to normal in seconds. Momma and puppies are doing very well.. All together we have 4 yellow (2 girls 2 boys) and 4 black (1 girl 3 boys)

Mommy and Daddy have been married 3 years today!! So...mommy decided to attempt putting on her wedding dress...being 3 months pregnant made it hard for daddy to zip her up...but with success we got a few pictures. I think she looks pretty!!

Happy 4th of July.. We had so much fun walking in a parade with our friends from the Chapel. I loved handing out beach balls and frisbees to the crowd.

What a great weekend in Hannibal, Missouri. I got to spend three days with my cousin Asher. He is so much fun. I like to copy him.. Take a look at these pictures.. you can see how much fun he is.

I love eating cereal,. Mommy shared her Life cereal with me and now it is both of our favorites, but I also love Rice Krispies and Multigrain Cheerios.

In other news, I am now sleeping in my toddler bed. It all started when mommy put me down for my afternoon nap. I wasn't ready to sleep so I took it upon myself to get out of my crib. I managed to flip out of bed and land pretty hard on the ground. Mommy heard the loud noise and came running. She found me on the ground and I was pretty scared. So, mommy and daddy decided it was time to put me on a bed closer to the ground.

Lastly, Mommy and Daddy have started a small garden. They have tomato plants, pepper plants, snap peas, onions, and spinach. I think it looks great. Mommy actually picked an onion for her salad at dinner tonight.

Well, I finally made it to the big time! I was called up to Brookfield Zoo to practice all my animal sounds. Fortunately, my cousins Laura, Hannah, and Michael came with their mom, Shelly to help me remember them all.

Mommy lifted me up so I could see the polar bear. He kept diving under the water and eating lots of fish. I'm glad I don't have to do that for my dinner!

Grandma and Grandpa Olson came to visit this weekend. We had so much fun. We went to a petting zoo where I got to practice many of my animal sounds. I'm hoping to get called up soon to the Big Leagues, like Brookfield Zoo. I also got to eat some corn on the cob for the first time. Since grandma and grandpa were in town, and Grandma Anderson came over for a BBQ, mom and dad decided it was okay to spoil me a little with a pudding pop. It was so much fun. I miss them already!

Happy Mother's Day, Mama! I decided to dress pretty for Church on Sunday. It was mommy's special day. I bought her some flowers and took nap that was more than three hours long. I thought she would like a little rest today .

Lastly, the yellow labrador that we were trying to breed Tivoli with wasn't Tivoli's type.. Four days of trying with that boy and no success. So, the breeder suggested his other AKC male, which is a black labrador. And... tadda! within five minutes we had success. Tivoli's new boyfriend is Joey. He is a beautiful black labrador who knows how to get the job done!

We decided that with spring coming, we needed to be spending more time outside. However, we didn't have a lot of room since our patio furniture took up the entire old patio. What a fun day! Today I met my cousins Laura, Hannah, and Michael at the Rainforest Cafe. There was so much to see there!! I loved it!I even got to sit between my cousins. I was very polite, aside from spilling my cup of water all over me within the first ten minutes of sitting down. No one seemed to care and I just went with out pants for the remainder of the day!Michael got a BIG slushie.. he almost drank the whole thing.We got to see fish, gorillas, snakes, cheetahs, monkeys.. you name it, it was there. After that we went to Build-a-Bear where Michael and I stuffed animals.
Hannah and Laura helped us a lot.

I decided on a lamb and Michael chose a Panda.We got to put a special heart in them
and we had to give them a bath. We made out birth certificates

And took our new friends home.. Then we went shopping.. What do you think of this hat? too big maybe?

Michael wanted to take me for a ride... Like the hat? Now, that was a fun day!! I really need to see those three more often!

The Next Ultimate Fighter

Unfortunately, I lost my first bout to my cozy coupe! He got me with a right cross from his gas tank. I decided to call my agent to say I want out of the UFC. I can't have this pretty face bruised up every week.

Daddy and Mommy worked very hard to make a stepping stone for me. We first combined water and mixed a few times..

Then Mommy smoothed out the cement and we added a few mosaic pieces.Daddy then tried to put my hand in the cement.. but I thought it was more fun to grab the squishy stuff in my hands. Mommy tried to stop me from grabbing and squishing the cement in my fingers, but I was able to wiggle my fingers in it. So...
They smoothed out the cement one last time and put my foot in it!!

My baby girl is becoming independent

I have become more independent these past few weeks. I love feeding myself, especially breakfast. My new favorite food is broccoli. And I love to say Cheese for the camera. At my 15 month check up (I was 16 months though), I learned I am a growing baby. I tipped the scale at 25 lbs and am just shy of 31 inches tall. My head is growing too.. wow!! I am getting some new teeth way in the back of my mouth called molars and they hurt.. I have learned so many new words that I think I am almost at 25 words. My new favorites are Up, No, and Bye. Mommy likes to hear me say please, but I don't want her to think I have mastered that word yet, so I only use it during very special occasions.

We were voting for what was for dinner.. I put two hands up for broccoli and chicken!

Eating Oatmeal is no easy task..

Grandma, mommy and I went to Tennessee to visit my new cousin Ella, my Uncle Johnny, Aunt Joy, Larry, Prissy, and Mabel. We had a great time. Although I was sick the first day, the rest of the time I spent playing with dogs, watching Ella and visiting my Family. Mommy said I am so big when she was holding Ella. Ella sleeps a lot during the day and eats a lot. I really enjoyed going to the mall, bubble baths, and having some tasty food. Aunt Joy and Uncle Johnny spoiled us. I enjoyed the flight, but got a little antsy! The last flight to O'hare was the longest due to some technical difficulty. All in all.. I was a super traveler.

2008 Year in Review and Hopes for 2009

2008 had lots of highs and lows. First of all, the New Year began with my first trip to the emergency room with RSV. It was not fun. In March, daddy found out he was going to be an assistant principal at Canterbury. I love visiting him there. Then, in April I went to my first Cubs game. Mommy considers this one of the highs while daddy says it was one of the lows. My Grandpa Anderson also went home to be with the Lord in April. I sure miss him and the rides he took me on his scooter. But I know he's in heaven now watching out for me. In June, my cousin Chris got married to Jacki. That was my first of three weddings in 2008! July was very busy for me. My cousin Danny married Kristen. Mommy and daddy celebrated their 2nd wedding anniversary. And I took my first boat ride on Mark Twain Lake in Hannibal, MO with the Olson family and my Aunt Jenoa's aunt and uncle. July also brought about a big change as we sold our townhome and moved into our new house. August was also pretty busy when I went to Oklahoma to see my Grandpa Anderson's family for the first time. Unfortunately, we took the trip because my cousin Randy got in a motorcycle accident. But he's better and riding again now! In September, we started attending The Chapel, which we absolutely love! I'm going to be dedicated there in February. October brought my first corn maze visit, and of course my 1st birthday! Mommy and daddy had our first professional pictures taken in November not to mention hosting our first holiday feast! And now December. Two VERY important things happened in December. First, I started walking on my own...and my cousin Ella Leigh Anderson was born. She lives down south with her daddy, my uncle Johnny, and her mommy, Aunt Joy. She is a lucky girl to have them for parents. Well, that's pretty much what happened in 2008. Right now, I'm upstairs with a fever so it seems like 2009 is starting the same, but I have high hopes for this year that it will be even better than 2008!

Hopes for 2009...daddy hopes to be a principal, mommy is to continue her growth with God, and I hope I get a baby brother or sister to play with. Happy New Year everyone! God Bless you all!

Merry Christmas! Friday we had the 2nd annual Anderson "Christmas Around the World." Food from Switzerland, the Keys, Germany, Sweden, Puerto Rico, American Indian, and Spain was represented.

Grandma Anderson got me my very own puppy since mommy and daddy said I'm not ready for a real one yet.I got my own laptop so I could do my own blogging.

Asher told me he was a little stressed from the holidays so I offered him a massage. I have seen Daddy give Mommy lots of these so I feel I have the technique down.

Ella Leigh Anderson was born on December 22nd. She weighed 5lb 15oz and was 18inches long. She has a full head of hair and her Daddy sees a little of Grandpa Anderson in her. She is lucky. My Grandpa Anderson was a beautiful man.

My Aunt Joy is a perfect snuggler. Ella is one lucky girl.

hm.. I think this is called "Co sleeping", Can you see that pen by Ella's head? It is almost bigger than her. Her puppy Larry is a wondereful watch dog.

Wow.. Uncle Johnny looks like a giant compared to Ella. He is going to be a perfect Daddy.

Grandma over Chrismtas morning!

Lotto tickets in grandma's stocking.. and they were all winners!!

Santa left Grandma a few presents and a stocking full of goodies at my house, so she came over to celebrate with us. We lit a fire and sat around eating cookies, drinking coffee (milk) and opening presents. I bought grandma a hummingbird feeder and Mommy and Daddy bought her some clothes. Daddy got lots of warm clothes so that he is more snugly with me. Mommy got pretty girl things for her hair and clothes.. she also got Sugarland CD and concert tickets. I love music.. I think I get it from my mommy!! We have been dancing to her new CD all morning.

But.. the best gift of all was my new baby cousin Ella Leigh Anderson
